Polly Gibbons takes the Ronnie Scott's stage, with her stellar 8-piece band celebrating her latest album, ‘As It Is’. Described by Blues and Soul Magazine as "emotionally resonant and deeply moving…”, these performances will highlight Polly's powerful skills as a songwriter and her unique ability to blend Soul, Gospel, and RnB with her deep jazz roots. ‘As It Is’ is Polly’s 9th album, but her first collection of all-original material, written, arranged, and produced by Polly herself, with co-production from Ronnie Scott’s own Artistic Director, James Pearson. Audiences can anticipate a high-energy mix of these soulful new originals alongside a selection of funky classics, all delivered with Polly’s unmistakable warmth and charisma. Featuring the talents of James Pearson (piano), Phil Merriman (organ/rhodes), Al Cherry (guitar), Loz Garratt (bass), Saleem Raman (drums), plus three superb backing vocalists.
