Morgan Guerin is incredible, and incredibly doesn’t upstage esperanza Spalding while switching between performing duties on Rhodes piano,Hammond Organ, Saxophone, and playing bass while singing backup harmonies. The entire show was light-hearted and yet sought to make a real connection with the audience - and the crowd stayed interfaced through the journey.
There were some audio issues - I think they had trouble getting the stand up bass to be represented across its upper range - but all in all an amazing performance.
