About this concert
Eric Demmer, sax player and Gulf Coast Records Label Artist. Eric played with the legendary guitarist Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown in 1993 and remained a member of his band until Brown's passing in 2005. Demmer has performed with various artists and bands, showcasing his soulful and energetic playing style. The band's sound is a blend of high-energy blues, funk, and classic rock 'n' roll. The band will play songs from their CD "So Fine" and some of your favorite blues and classic rock.

Eric Demmer
ERIC began the journey of a natural-born musician, playing anywhere at any time with anyone. In 1993 Eric began to tour exclusively with the legendary Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. Traveling all over the world for over 12 years up until Gate’s death in 2005. During those years, Eric got to perform with everyone from BB King, Eric Clapton the Allman Brothers, Carlos Santana and many more. In recent years Eric has played with Mike Zito and the BB King Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson from the Jackson 5. Eric produced the new CD for the BB King Blues Band that came out in 2019. Eric also performed on Mike Zito’s Resurrection cd and Tito Jackson’s new cd Under Your Spell both released in 2021. When not on tour with other artists, Eric has his own band. He describes his sound as “high energy, blues, funk, rock n roll” and combines a variety of influences while reminding everyone “The real thing comes from the heart and soul”.
