3SOME Biography
3SOME is a fusion trio formed by Davide Rasetti (keys & saxophone), Daan Arets (drums) and Gianluca Calò (bass). 3SOME's music transcends genres, blending individual influences into a unique sound that merges progressive jazz with elements of funk and world music.
The three musicians met in the music scene of Rotterdam in the summer of 2022. They quickly noticed their musical connection and just a few months later, they managed to record their first album "TO GO UP", under the name of the Davide Rasetti TRIO. The album was released during their Ital tour in September 2023. During this tour, the trio participated in a two-week artistic residency, an experience that changed the direction of the band. This period of intensive collaboration led to the collective writing of a whole new repertoire and defined the trio's new and unique identity The formation of this new identity inspired a bold decision: changing the name from "Davide Rasetti TRIO" to
“3SOME”.
