About this concert
Since their debut in 1990, The Brand Heavies have developed their love for 70s funk grooves into a sound that has exploded dance floors and inspired fans. On Sunday 26 October, the group will be at Patronaat.
In Haarlem, the band will celebrate their successful album Brother Sister, but they will undoubtedly also play songs from albums that followed. In 2023, they were in our country with a Greatest Hits tour, now they are coming to Haarlem again with all their successful songs from Brother Sister.

The Brand New Heavies Biography
The Brand New Heavies are an acid jazz and alternative hip hop group formed in 1985 in Ealing, West London. Originally an instrumental rare groove group, the Brand New Heavies gained a cult following in the London club scene and soon signed to Cooltempo as acid house replaced rare groove in clubs.

* Jan Kincaid — born 17 May 1966 in Ealing - drummer / keyboardist
* Simon Bartholomew — born 16 October 1965 in Ealing - guitarist
* Andrew Levy — born 20 July 1966 in Ealing - bassist / keyboardist
The band has also worked with many vocalists, including N'Dea Davenport, Sideah Garrett, Carleen Anderson, Nicole Russo, and Sy Smith.
