Hot Lava produces a thrift store mix of 50s & 60s sci-fi, surf guitar, trash pop, and post-punk rock n roll.
Based in San Diego, the band has performed to sold-out crowds at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Old World Village in Huntington Beach, the Gaslamp in Long Beach, as well as night clubs and venues throughout Southern California.
Hot Lava plays the best songs from The B-52s catalog, including “Planet Claire,” “Private Idaho,” “Love Shack,” and “Rock Lobster.”
Known for their wild live performances, there is no earthly way not to have a good time.
