weaves together a tapestry of influences, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists such
as Nathelie Mcmaster, Artie Shaw, and Pink Floyd.
Throughout his career, Marten has crisscrossed the country taking his music to audiences at
events and festivals. Alongside his band, The Borch Brothers, he has performed at gatherings
like North Country Fair, Taste of Edmonton, Big Valley Jamboree, and Robson Valley Folk
Festival.
With heartfelt authenticity, Marten bares his emotions, taking listeners on an immersive journey
through moments of pure joy and the depths of sadness, from fiery bursts of anger, to the
beauty present in all life.
