Kolkerofficial Biography
Over the years, Kolker and his band have been honing a sound and energy at their residency at the historic Bitter End in Greenwich Village, NYC. Their original music is a winning mixture built on straight-ahead rock and blues—a sound that isn’t tied rigidly to either genre and consequently bends the unlikeliest ears.
Kolker has a markedly individualistic style as a singer, songwriter and as a guitarist. Whether it's a blues tune or an earnest ballad, his lyrics are personal and heartfelt, often centered around themes of love, heartbreak, and pain. The relatability to these feelings and emotions, as well as the overall craftsmanship of the tunes themselves, pull listeners into the enticing moodiness and sensuality of the songs. Kolker knows his way around the guitar. His technical prowess and incredible solos demonstrate his virtuosity and keep audiences enrapt.
KOLKER is available for bookings nationally, with his full band or as a solo artist.
