Thomas Allain Biography
Thomas Allain is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Gainesville, FL, making music he calls “sentimental indie folk-rock.” His songs lean into the quiet stuff—memory, doubt, hope—and come out the other side with something honest, melodic, human, and rockin.
In January 2025, he began recording his debut solo album at Ivy Manor in Muscle Shoals, AL, working with producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, Julien Baker, Paris Jackson). The first single, “Footprints in the Stone,” drops June 14 and offers a glimpse into a project built on years of collaborative writing and growing into his sound.
Thomas also plays bass for touring artist Cat Ridgeway, where he’s cut his teeth on the road, learning how to hold down a groove and light up a room. Before that, he fronted his band The Late Night Losers, performing at the 2024 30A Songwriters Festival and sharing stages that shaped his voice as a performer and collaborator.
Now stepping into his own, Thomas brings all that lived-in experience to every show, whether it’s solo or in a band, chasing connection through song.
