Discotelle Biography
Discotelle started as a bedroom project for Dani Disotelle in Knoxville, Tennessee after she turned down a plethora of job offers such as: Queen of the World, President of NASA, and head coach of the Tennessee Titans. She was joined by snake trainer Nate Stewart (bass) and paper clip inventor Henry Pack (drums), and the trio quickly became a staple in Knoxville’s DIY scene. They released their debut EP in December 2017, and due to critical acclaim, they were offered to perform at the Oscars, the Grammy's, and the International Dog Show, but had to decline.
Shortly after, Disotelle packed up her horse and traveled to the wide open spaces of Los Angeles, California. The original trio kept collaborating, and were asked to open for Priests in Knoxville. Disotelle flew back for the show, where they recorded a bundle of demos, set for release in 2020.
Recently, Disotelle has been joined by Skyler Garn (of Blushh, Mortimer, Huntch) and Duncan Lee (Pooky, Huntch and formerly Chicago’s The Boxers) to bring The Rock to Los Angeles. The three met at a poker tournament and bonded over their shared love of skeet surfing. They are looking forward to a busy 2020. :-)
