Helang is a Chinese-American artist currently based in New York. She’s honed her skills as a DJ and producer to craft a style that’s an eclectic blend of house and techno, infused with ethereal soundscapes and a dynamic groove. Helang’s art surpasses the time she spends behind the decks- by dedicating time in the studio, she has sharpened her production prowess to shape an emerging signature sound that permeates through the textured layers of all of her releases.

Helang combines synth-wave inspired, grungy basslines topped off with sultry, haunting vocals that result in a sonic synergy that drives deep into her listeners. Known for weaving driving sets that are destined for the dance floor, she has shared the stage with industry leaders that include the likes of Testpilot (Deadmau5), John Digweed, Camelphat, Eli Brown, Joris Voorn, Mathame, Adam Ten, and more. Thus far, Helang has released on esteemed European imprints such as Manual Music and Stress Records - with 2023 seeing the launch of her very own "Dauntless Records". Her music has garnered support from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Karotte, and Nicholas Masseyeff. She has recently earned attention from impactful titles, with media placements in DJ Mag, Forbes, Beatportal, YourEDM, and Spotify editorial highlights on Women In Electronic and Qrion’s Track IDs playlists.
