Les Clermontois aiment mettre en scène des ambiances lugubres, explorer la thématique de l'épouvante et asséner de monumentales doses de fuzz.
WITCHFINDER a trouvé sa place au sein de la scène underground grâce à de puissantes prestations lives, notamment aux côtés de poids lourds du genre tels que Red Fang, Corrosion Of Conformity, Conan ou Monolord. Puissance décuplée depuis 2023, avec l’addition d’un second guitariste au sein de la formation : Quentin Partenay du groupe de doom Monas.

French doom sludge quartet WITCHFINDER are powered by gloomy sound effects, haunted Dopelord-like vocals, thunderous riffage and a bone rattling rhythm section. The threesomme explore the horror topics and spread a massive blast of fuzz. Since the release of their eponymous debut album in 2017, they have garnered a sizable following among the underground scene opening for stoner and doom heavyweights such as Red Fang, Corrosion Of Conformity, Conan or Monolord. 2023 sees another line-up change as Keyboardist Kevyn Raecke is being replaced by guitarist Quentin Parthenay from doom outfit Monas.
