Eli Hannon Biography
Eli Hannon grew up just outside Atlanta, Georgia, where music wasn’t just background noise—it was the atmosphere. With a father like Dan Hannon, a seasoned producer who's worked with artists like Manchester Orchestra, Paris Jackson, Teddy Swims, Julien Baker, and Aaron Shust, Eli was raised with a front-row seat to the creative process.
Spending his childhood in and out of recording studios, he was introduced early on to the soul and R&B legends of the 20th century. Voices like Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and The Temptations laid the foundation for his own musical identity—raw, emotional, and full of heart.
He was singing before he could even talk, often humming melodies around the house. At ten, his father heard someone belting “Who’s Lovin’ You” and thought it was the radio—until he realized it was Eli. “As soon as he stepped into the vocal booth, I was stunned,” Dan says. “There was something real, joyful, and totally his own.”
Now, nearly 21, Eli is a singer and multi-instrumentalist carving out his own space with a sound that balances vulnerability and confidence. Whether it’s an intimate coffeehouse or a legendary stage like the Apollo Theater, his performances carry a timeless kind of energy that sticks with people.
Eli just released the first of four albums he is set to release this year.
