My first time bringing my 'Solo But Never Alone' party to Clawson, all thanks to the new weekly Open Mic at the Detroit Burger Bar with superstar singer/songwriter and now host Jacki Daniels! 6pm for me (I get to start this soiree' and set the musical bar high!) so stop in for a Memorial Weekend Sunday that should be...well even more memorable. Due to the overwhelming demand and overwhelming network of talent in the area, I’ve partnered with Old Detroit Burger Bar to begin hosting a weekly open mic night on my favorite day of the week!
Open mics are a great way to showcase your musical talent whether it’s cover songs, recorded material or new songs you’d like to test in front of a supportive and listening audience. If you’re a music lover, you will hear a huge variety of new and familiar music in a live setting, not to mention the food here is awesome!! Save the date and let’s kick off this Sunday funday strong!

In my regular role as lead vocalist/keyboard player for Sweet Crystal, I have been blessed to win 26 Detroit Music Awards in the Outstanding Gospel/Christian categories of singer, songwriter, musician, act and recording.
Along with my work with Sweet Crystal and now as keyboardist for both Second Hand Mojo and David Winans' Pi projects, my 'Solo But Never Alone' show now brings my one-man/one keyboard (well sometimes more than one keyboard because after all, it's who I am) approach to my music, sharpening my focus on God and the Gospel message that has shaped and continues to shape everything in my life.
My music and message are tied intricately together; what I have to say and how I say it are meant to come across filled with hope, inspiration, life and light.
Why do this at this point in my career? I do this because I feel that if my songs lift me up in spirit, then I believe they will do the same for you.
