Join us for an evening that flows through Fort Mason Center like a song. We’ll begin at 6:00 PM in the Magic Theatre (Building D, 3rd Floor) with cocktails, vinyl, and Grateful Dead spins. At 6:50 PM, we’ll walk over to the Fort Mason Night Market for an electric set by the Sunshine Garcia Band from 7–8 PM. Then, return to the Magic Theatre at 8:00 PM for an intimate acoustic set with Rory McNamara & Friends, weaving music, memory, and community into a glowing close. With scenes from the play performed by Dena Martinez and Brian Rivera . This is the second gathering in our series supporting Jerry Garcia in the Lower Mission, a visionary new musical by Richard Montoya, directed by Rotimi Agbabiaka, with dramaturgy by Edris Cooper-Anifowoshe, premiering October–November 2025 at the Magic Theatre. With the blessing of Trixie Garcia, this is a story of origins, spirits, and songs that still echo through San Francisco. Tickets $45 in advance/$55 at the door (if available)
