Blue Moon Alley Biography
Blue Moon Alley is an Americana band with style, blending the soul of traditional rock ‘n’ roll with trippy, improvisational jams that transport listeners to a place where anything is possible. Formed in 2016, the band has captivated audiences with their impressive guitar and vocal skills, led by husband-and-wife duo Spencer and Emma Houghton. Their chemistry on stage — both musically and personally — brings an added layer of depth to the band’s performances, where heartfelt lyrics, soaring melodies, and grooves beg for late-night jams.
Their debut album, Love in This Life, is available on all major streaming platforms, offering a taste of Blue Moon Alley’s signature sound. The band has had the honor of opening for acts like Midnight North, The Sam Grisman Project, and Dave A’Bear & Friends, they were also featured in Relix magazine as Rising Artists.
With a vibe inspired by the Grateful Dead and other classic American rock ‘n’ roll influences, Blue Moon Alley invites listeners to dive deep into a musical experience that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Spencer and Emma will be recording their next album, Turning a Tune, in March and will be released later this year. This upcoming record will explore the folk side of Americana, highlighting their roots while continuing to push boundaries with their jam-driven sound.
Whether you’re here for the vibe or the virtuosity, Blue Moon Alley is ready to take you on a journey, one song at a time.
