Dead Target Biography
Dead Target is young, energetic and self-proclaimed 'PunkRockNRoll' from Hardangerfjord, Norway. The band, which originally formed in 2017, started 2024 by changing its name and entering the studio with new songs and new visions. In May 2024, they released their "comeback single" Signs on the norwegian label ''Fücking North Pole Records''. The single was listed on Evig Lyttar's MÅNADENS ØYRESUS, and was played on radio and podcasts both home and abroad. In June, the band followed up with the more alternative single Leaving In A Year Or Two, where they were referred to as "Maiden-Punk" on an American radioshow.
In September, they finally released their debut EP PUNX, which really opened people's eyes and ears. They got played on NRK P13, invited to podcasts and radioshows, and is currently spending 2025 releasing more music, recording their debut album and gigging the east and west of Norway.
Dead Target draws great inspiration from bands such as Green Day, The Libertines, Turbonegro, Misfits and Social Distortion, with their own distinctive twist. The result is a bold harmony of punk rock n roll music and melodic choruses!
