East Valley Road Biography
East Valley Road traces its name from the winding California highway, but its sound roams further—through Memphis soul, Delta blues, and coastal Americana. Anchored by songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Brandi Rose, Fabio Cesar, Jack Keough and Maxton Hunter, the band weaves their coastal California upbringing with the soulful essence of the American South.
The journey began with early affiliations with guitarist Cameron Nichoson and the Santa Barbara Blues Society, leading to a defining moment: a trip to Memphis as contenders in the International Blues Challenge. From the ghost of Stax Records to the gates of Graceland, echoes of the past embedded themselves in the band’s spirit. Not long after, they found themselves opening for blues powerhouse Sugaray Rayford—another spark that lit their path.
In 2024, the band found sanctuary at Alan Parsons’ tranquil ParSonics Studio, where producer Noah Bruskin helped shape their evolving sound. From April to August, the band will be unveiling two new songs each month as part of a season-long release series.
East Valley Road channels the blues as a living tradition—rooted in history, shaped by the road, and always moving forward.
