Cristian Allexis, singer-songwriter born in Santo Domingo, influenced from an early age by the rich variety of sounds that his family provided him. His artistic training ranges from the roots of popular music to the most romantic melodies, shaping his identity as a versatile artist. Inspired by music masters such as Ricardo Montaner and Boyz II Men, he channels his emotions into memorable artistic creations. In 2011, recognizing that his dream had always followed him, Cristian founded the outstanding group Urbanova with his friend Anibal Coronado. For a decade, Urbanova becomes the platform where Cristian perfects his art, releasing two acclaimed albums, "Reciclando Palabras" and "Tren 4", establishing himself as a musical reference both in his homeland and in the United States. On June 10, 2022, Cristian Allexis takes a bold step towards his solo career with the release of "Evolución" to a sold-out crowd in Santo Domingo, marking the beginning of a new stage in his artistic evolution. In 2023, Cristian's talent is recognized with two nominations at the prestigious Soberano Awards, standing out as composer of the year and for song of the year, "Constelación de Lunares". September 2023 marks a milestone with the release of the album #gigante, a masterpiece composed of 7 bachatas, 3 ballads and an intro, demonstrating the diversity and depth of his creative ability. Cristian Allexis, grateful for his God-given talents, continues to create music from the heart with the purpose of uniting people globally. His musical legacy resonates from his country to the most remote corners, connecting audiences with a unique and emotional experience.
Cristian has been 4 times nominated for best songwriter and best album in the Premios Soberano's of Dominican Republic. He also has won the Glamour music award in 2024 for best pop artist.
