The New Hires Biography

The New Hires are an indie rock band from Ottawa, ON. Known for their catchy hooks and energetic live performances, they have recently recorded their upcoming EP ‘Talking to the Walls’. Produced by Thomas D’Arcy (NOBRO, The Sheepdogs, July Talk), the latest EP explores the social anxieties and personal challenges of early adulthood self-discovery.

Their creative blend of 2000’s rock nostalgia and modern indie sounds continue to pack some of Ontario’s most notable venues. Supporting artists such as JUNO award-winning artists JJ Wilde and Dear Rouge, Hotel Mira and DURRY, the dapper 5-piece have been showcasing their back-to-basics approach delivering anthemic ballads and high-energy rock songs you can’t help but sing along to.

The New Hires are Max (Vocals), Phil (Guitar), Aidan (Guitar), Christian (Drums) and Jack (Bass).
