The New Hires

In 2025, THINQ Music and Colfax Music are combining to reimagine music careers for emerging artists. As a result, the LVL UP Workshop and NXT LVL Events will be delivered to high schools and across city venues and partners in the city of Ottawa. Beginning in May 2025 the first festival will run in parallel to the OMIC organized Capital Music Awards and Capital Music Week in Canada’s capital city Ottawa. With over 40 bands and 10 shows at venues across the city the NXT LVL Event will begin to deliver on the Mayor’s vision for Ottawa to truly become a Music City. Sponsored by THINQ Music (a management and consulting company that mentors and works with emerging artists), Steves Music (Ottawa’s Music Store) and Algonquin College MIA program who will provide volunteer interns to assist with the programming and management of the event, Colfax will provide the event and artist management and the development of associated workshops and local High School relationships.
