CAMPUS is a Belgian melodic hardcore powerhouse with a history spanning nearly two decades. Since their formation in 2004, the band evolved from a group of friends shaping their sound to becoming a defining force in the European alternative music scene. Combining post-hardcore, metalcore, and screamo, CAMPUS built a reputation for their electrifying live energy and powerful, melodic sound. Over the years, they’ve played countless shows, from local stages to renowned festivals like Groezrock and Pukkelpop, as well as extensive tours across mainland Europe and the UK.

In just six years, CAMPUS released two EPs and two albums. Their first EP, Inside The Mind Of A Serial Killer (2007) and debut album We Are The Silence (2008) captured the raw intensity of a band hungry to make their mark. By 2010, the critically acclaimed Oh, Comely! showcased a refined, mature sound, cementing their status as a powerhouse in the melodic hardcore scene. This was followed by the Empathy EP in 2012, which marked the end of their initial run before the band went on hiatus.

After an extended break, CAMPUS made a triumphant return in 2023 with their original lineup. Highlights of their comeback included a surprise performance at Pukkelpop 2023 and an aftershow in Brussels following While She Sleeps' concert at the AB. The band’s high-energy Homecoming Tour in 2024 saw them reignite their connection with fans through a string of memorable club shows, while new tracks like Thrash Life and Homecoming earned airplay on major radio stations. During summer they dominated stages at festivals like Jera On Air, Rock Herk, Brakrock, and Rock Olmen, further solidifying their comeback.

Looking ahead, CAMPUS is poised to take their music to bold new levels with exciting upcoming releases. Fans can expect more fresh tracks that fuse the raw energy of their early years with the evolution and maturity of their current sound.
