Deadlies Biography

Deadlies Bio

The Deadlies are entirely new type of surf band, paying homage to the Ventures, Dick Dale and the Chantays as well as the California Honky-tonk sound of Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam while keeping an under lying presence of the California surf punk scene that brought us the Dickies, Agent Orange, Green Day and Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs.
Recently playing Fright Fest at Six Flags after completing a tour with Billy Bob Thorton and his band the Boxmasters at the end of summer and completing taping of the 10th season of their TV show "Creepy KOFY Movietime". The Deadlies (featuring James Patrick Regan on vocals and guitar & Bob St Laurent on bass and Colin Douglas on drums) are also in the middle of a string of recording dates with legendary producer Jack Douglas. the Deadlies have performed over 200 dates last year including tour support for the Wallflowers, Smash Mouth, Lisa Marie Presley, The Mavericks, Eric Martin, Shuggie Otis, Metalachi, Blue Öyster Cult, Greg Kihn, the B‐52’s, Dick Dale, Y&T, Billy Bob Thorton and the Boxmasters, The Protomen & Big Bad VooDoo Daddy at renown venues of The Uptown, City Winery Napa, Blue Note, Buck Owen’s Crystal Palace, The El Rey Theatre, Slim’s, BottleRock Festival, FogFest, Rockbar Theater, the Independent, Harlow’s, Cargo Reno, Harris Center, the Catalyst, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Rogue Theatre, Granada theatre, Star theatre Portland, Six Flag’s Discovery Kingdom & Magic Mountain, Napa, Sonoma, Solano, San Mateo, El Dorado, Ventura, Kern, Sonoma-Marin County Fairs and more.
