Ook dit jaar werken De Kroepoekfabriek en Het @stadsstrandvld samen om toffe concerten te organiseren deze zomer! Tussen juni en september staan er weer 12 toffe concerten op de planning en ze zijn gratis te bezoeken!
Op 31 mei trappen we de concertreeks af, met niemand minder dan @rumforbreakfast_ op het podium! De verslavende mengelmoes van vriendschap, vrijheid en een merkwaardig surf-ritueel uit Panama. De band maakt een mix van pop, surf- en indierock. Het concert begint om 19:30.
En op 31 mei wordt de middag afgetrapt door het DJ-duo Muts en De Lange! Vanaf 15:00 duiken ze in hun platenkoffer om de meest zomerse tracks ten gehore te brengen en Het Stadsstrand feestelijk te openen.

Rum for Breakfast Biography
Rum for Breakfast is the addictive blend of friendship, adventure and a peculiar surf ritual from
Panama. A project in which southern Dutchman musician Machiel Scholten, together with his bandmates, shows all the different sides of their colorful character.
Based in Rotterdam they embark on musical acventures which brings them to new situations and experiences every time. From campings and surfy beachsides to festivals and even garage boxes. Everyhing is being used to perform their songs and inspire others.
They even have their own campervan which is being used as a stage to perform plug-and play-wise at every location imaginable!
They have just released their debut album, called 'Balance' , which already got airplay on Dutch national radiostation 3FM.
New singles will follow the coming months.
The group has won the audience award for one of the biggest music competitions in Rotterdam and has played several credible support shows, for, among others, Eagle-Eye Cherry and Benny Sings.
