Asfixia Social

Born in São Paulo, at the heart of the underground scene, Asfixia Social is a sonic movement that blends punk rock, rap, ska, metal, and Brazilian rhythms. With explosive energy and lyrics addressing social and political issues, the band stands out as one of the most authentic forces in the alternative music scene. After releasing the albums Da Rua pra Rua and Sistema de Soma, the group launched their third album, Bleeding in the Sun, in 2024, exploring global issues such as immigration and social justice. 2024 was a milestone year: a tour with the legendary Varukers (UK), festivals like Punk in Rio at Circo Voador and Hacktown, as well as their third European tour, including 15 performances across five countries and festivals such as Wilwarin and Youth Brigade (Germany). The year culminates with their confirmed appearance at the Rebellion Festival 2025 in Blackpool, the world's largest punk festival. Authentic and resilient, Asfixia Social continues to bring the voice of the streets to the world, reaffirming music as a tool for social transformation.
