Blockage

Originally formed in Los Angeles in 1998, Blockage fuses punk-fueled rock & roll with sharp wit and sneering social commentary. Their songs come out swinging - loud, fast, and unfiltered - but always land with a killer hook and a darkly comic twist. Their sound is a mix of East Coast Ramones-core melded with the aggression and hooks of the SoCal punk scene.

Their latest release, The Very Very Worst of Blockage (2022), is a raw and relentless chronicle of their years in the L.A. punk underground, capturing the grit, grind, and gallows humor that have defined them from the start.

In 2024 the band reformed in New York City where they are currently writing & recording material for their second full-length album, The Wonderful World of Blockage. A remixed & remastered edition of The Very Very Worst will also drop in 2025, reintroducing their back catalog with fresh bite and venom.
