Soumik Datta is a virtuoso sarod player (a 19-stringed lute-type instrument prominent in Hindustani music) known for redefining the boundaries of Indian music.
He plays in a vast range of styles – jazz, Indo-blues, drum’n’bass, and many more – with storytelling and contemporary soundscapes, but always returns to his classical roots, performing traditional Hindustani music around the world to increasing acclaim.
At Tapestry he will play with his full band.
