Latino/Hispanic Meeting Room A Together We Rise: Storytellers, musicians and activists of Asian and Latin voices join in solidarity Please join us for inspiration, joy and learn about our resilience and courage in a gathering of storytellers, musicians and activists from the Latin and Asian American communities building bridges to each other, creating community and allyship so important at this time. ¡VIVA!: Latinx Interest Connect to engaging discussions and performances related to the Latinx community. ¡VIVA! at the Library is a celebration of Latinx heritage, cultures and traditions. San Francisco has a rich Latinx heritage that is highlighted in a diverse array of exciting programs for all ages, from Spanish/bilingual storytimes to cooking classes, author talks to art and cultural presentations. Weaving Stories: Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Interest Programs and workshops, book recommendations and more relating to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) heritage. Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from AANHPI communities. Performance Events featuring theater, music, art and dance.
