About this concert
On FRIDAY, June 6th, we’re at our first show at the Shed of 2025! Join us at one of our favorite band venues for a stellar early-summer night with some great indie rock bands from the cities. Bring your skateboard, some friends, and listen to some live music!
Music starts at 6pm. This show has a $5 cover, but every single dollar that comes into Project 37 goes directly into more shows just like this one!
Currently, our non-profit parent the Independent Music Collaborative of Central Minnesota just bought a building to turn into an all ages music venue and community-forward coffee shop! We’re working towards opening, and any donations from this show will go to directly benefit the opening and daily functions of the coffee shop and music venue.

Meet the artists!
PULLSTRING// alt dad rock
How does one describe Pullstring? Well… Basically Dad Rock. Hailing from Minneapolis, Pullstring’s brand of nostalgic Alt Rock and Power Pop is reminiscent of the 90s and 2000s artists they grew up listening to, such as Green Day and their hometown favorites, The Replacements.
Pullstring explores the struggles and realities of being a young adult in the 2020’s, the highs and lows, the victories and defeats. We’re all just trying to find our place in the world, come along and join us for the ride.
Though only a few years old, Pullstring is no stranger to life on the road with three Midwest tours under their belt playing at venues such as 7th Street Entry (Minneapolis, MN), the Maintenance Shop (Ames, IA), and Shank Hall (Milwaukee, WI).
Pullstring has also been on festival lineups such as Big Turn Music Fest, KURE Fest, and Northwoods Rock Rally. Notable touring acts Pullstring has opened for include ALEXSUCKS, George Clanton, The Melismatics, and We Are Scientists.

JOHN FORREST AND THE MODEL CITIZENS // alt rock
John Forrest & The Model Citizens are an alternative band based in Minneapolis Minnesota. With an upbeat danceable sound the music tries to capture the changing dynamics of love, self-destruction, loneliness, and isolation in the digital age.
CALL ME FRITZ // alt rock
Call Me Fritz is an all-original alternative rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Through their unique take on songwriting, they pull inspiration from various indie and alternative rock bands to create energetic music with meaningful lyrics. With members Isaac, George, and Jonathan, their live performances never have a dull moment as they play their hearts out to their crowds, making sure everyone feels like they belong.
Project 37 is a non-profit with a mission to provide spaces and opportunities for all ages to enjoy music in safe and sober environments. You can help us continue that goal by coming to shows, following us on social media, or telling people about what we do.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
