Marcan

Marcan, an electronic music artist from the South of France, draws inspiration from cinematic soundtracks like Eric Serra's The Big Blue and artists such as Massive Attack, launching his solo career in 2021 with the debut album SANCTUARY on Stripped Recordings. The album achieved significant success, with multiple tracks reaching top 5 positions on Beatport charts in Indie Dance, Progressive House, and Melodic House & Techno genres. His musical journey includes collaborations with renowned artists like Nick Warren, Sasha Carassi, and Jamie Stevens, with tracks gaining recognition from acclaimed DJs including Solomun and Hernán Cattáneo. Since 2022, Marcan has also been promoting Enigma, an innovative electronic music event series that bans phone use to create immersive experiences, and delivered a highly viewed livestream on The Soundgarden in 2023. Currently working on a 4-track EP with classical pianist Reda for 2024 and planning further collaborations, Marcan's musical style is characterized by deep, melancholic journeys that blend diverse genres from Downtempo to Progressive Techno. His live sets are unique musical experiences that combine hypnotic rhythms, emotional melodies, and a profound understanding of electronic music's transformative power, reflecting his artistic vision of connection through sound.
