Jodymoon was founded in 2006 by singer-pianist Digna Janssen and multi-instrumentalist Johan Smeets. In 2008, the duo won the Audience Award at the Grand Prize of the Netherlands with their mix of folk, pop, and roots. Since then, Jodymoon has released eight studio albums, all of which have received critical acclaim. The band has performed in Canada, Spain, England, Germany, and Italy, and has supported artists such as Joan Armatrading, Damien Jurado, Wende, and Tom McRae, among others.
