About this concert
Once a month I bathe my soul with a live solo performance at Trip Santa Monica. I like to think of Sunday Set for Saturday sinners as my revenge against catholic school. But it's also a communion of musicians, artist, and other lost souls. This month I will be hosting my friend and fellow Singer/Songwriter Stefano Capobianco.

Sunday Set for Saturday Sinners Biography
At the age of six, Mark Prudeaux had his first paid performance when he was hired by the pastor of his parent’s church to sing "Silent Night" for the bargain contract price of 10¢. However, in contrast to the reward he received for his first music performance, Mark repeatedly got his knuckles bruised by the nuns for drawing the female nude figure in class.
Born in Paducah, Kentucky and relocated at age 3 to Pacoima, California. A semi professional career in music began at age 14 as the lead vocalist for cover bands. Then songwriting , local bands, and clubs on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Coinciding with a career in illustration, printmaking, and graphic design. His first album in the 90s was with Velvet as bass player and background vocals for their first self titled release on Motion City Records. By this time he had advanced to art director, Freelance contractor, and published illustrator. While Velvet toured up and down the west side of the U.S. to support the release, Mark was illustrating in hotel rooms in between shows. In 1998, in addition to Bass, Mark took over lead vocals for the second Velvet CD, “Cyberspace Cowboy” on Delirium Records and created digital art for the CD packaging. By this time his client list had grown to include most of the major toy, and comic book firms in the country. Disney, WB, Cartoon Network, Marvel, DC, Top Cow, Just to name a few. He has released several albums to date and is currently lead Singer and Frontman for Carry-On Band, Guitar and Whiskey Club, Marcos Reyes and Friends, Hip Street, and performs once a month at Trip in Santa Monica for Sunday Set for Saturday sinners, (a solo acoustic set that remembers his first gig from the priest as well as a little revenge against the nuns that bruised his knuckles with a ruler for drawing in class.)
