About this concert
Fifth Element jazz quintet returns to Reid's Distillery on Wednesday, May 28th from 8 to 10 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm) as we continue our performances in the Concert Series at this lovely venue. Come for Gin and Jazz! Enjoy delicious drinks (spectacular gin!) and snacks while you listen to music from the Great American Songbook and more delivered by singer Nina Richmond, with Jack Gelbloom on piano, Ron Johnston on bass, Glenn Anderson on drums and Kurt Lund on woodwinds. Reid’s Distillery is located at 32 Logan Avenue, between Eastern Ave and Lakeshore Blvd. $15/ ticket goes to the artist. $20 tickets at the door.

The repertoire of the band draws from The Great American Songbook as well as jazz standards covering the swing, ballads, latin and hard bop genres. Our goal is to draw the audience in with musical treatments of this repertoire that are listenable, accessible and engaging.
