Simon returns to one of his favourite spots - Wolfeboro, NH to the Wolfboro Public Library to share his wit and his folk tales at this free event.
Folk and fairy tales, myths and legends are not JUST for kids, they’re for grown-ups, too. This family friendly, everyone friendly event will entertain and maybe enlighten you, but mostly the former! Meet us for this event in the large meeting room.

Simon Brooks storyteller Biography
Simon’s been entrancing audiences for over 15 years. His tales, both live and his award winning recordings, combine the intensity of solo performance with the intimacy of face-to-face conversations, delighting all. Simon has performed at hundreds of schools, libraries, and festivals including the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN and the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival in Utah. His book "Under the Oaken Bough" is popular with parents, children, grandparents, teachers and libraries. Seventeen folk and fairy tales, an author Q&A, a lexicon and section on tips for telling making this a "gem of a little book" - Elizabeth Ellis.
He has won a Silver Honors and two Gold Awards from Parent's Choice, and honors from Storytelling World for his storytelling albums. He has performed at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, TN twice and at Timpanogos Storytelling Festival in Utah and at the Florida Storytelling Festival. He has performed and taught at Sharing the Fire, the Connecticut Storytelling Festival, Stone Soup Storytelling Festival, Northlands Confabulation, and at the National Storytelling Conference as well at hundreds of libraries, schools, businesses, hospitals, museums, camps and the like!
