About this show
This year I've decided to perform each Arrogant Worms album, all by myself, in order. I'll also be talking about how the album came about, songs from the studio, and anything else my aging brain might remember. You'll be welcome to ask questions in the chat as we go along, and I might even bring in some documents!
This is album number five, Christmas Turkey, and yes it is a Christmas Album and that means I will be singing Christmas songs in June. When I started this project I decided to do the albums in order and this just happens to be how it turned out. You are welcome to wear Christmas sweaters and toques, although you might get a little hot. Anyway, it will be a happy, festive time for everyone!
This show is pay-what-you-want, with a $5 minimum. I want as many folks to come as possible, but if you can pay more, I really appreciate it.

Venue was nice, very comfy chairs. The atmosphere was very good, a lot of crowd participation. The show was solid, playing a large variety of songs, mixing in some humour, even a mini-rant. Their new songs were quite good and mixed in some solid favourites.

The Arrogant Worms Biography
Purveyors of musical mayhem.
The Arrogant Worms have spent over three decades making fun of a big dumb world. Their songs have been played on the radio, the internet, and in outer space (on the space shuttle Endeavour). The Worms began at Queen’s University in 1991 when some members of the student cabaret group, The Queen’s Players, started writing songs and sketches for the campus radio station CFRC. Soon the group became The Arrogant Worms (Chris Patterson, Mike McCormick, and Trevor Strong) who have since toured ceaselessly across Canada (and select other parts of the world), released 13 albums, and recorded with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Their song, The Last Saskatchewan Pirate, has been covered by bands such as Captain Tractor and The Longest Johns, and their Happy Happy Birthday song is a viral sensation with over one hundred million views of the various fan videos on YouTube. More than thirty years after they began, The Arrogant Worms continue to provide tuneful and silly escapism for everyone who needs it.
