Hey RICHARD Biography

Hey RICHARD is a melodic yet heavy culmination of 4 humans who shred hard while giving back. The band met while volunteering for Girls Rock Charlotte. The social justice sentiments of rock camp reverberate through their fierce-femme soundwaves and penetrate the hearts and minds of their captive audiences.

While a lot of Hey Richard’s songs deal with serious topics, the music is fun and the camaraderie between the band members creates dynamic and heart-felt live performances. Vulnerability and technical prowess make this band of womxn something special to behold.

"Hey RICHARD is the perfect amalgam of political commentary, unvarnished confessional and hand-waving, hip-shaking singalong."
