Dave Hill Jr. Biography
Based in Seattle, Dave Hill Jr. has opened his own pandora's box of songwriting after never believing he had what it took to write a song.
After 40 years of drumming, Dave started writing songs and now releases one song per month.
He first discovered storytelling in music at 8 after seeing Kenny Rogers perform on The Muppet Show and was hooked by the power of song.
As a drummer and percussionist for over 30 years, Dave played with Inflatable Soule and countless other bands in the 90s. He also collaborated with Michael Shrieve, including a song and drumming on his new album Drums of Compassion. Other notable collaborations include Shawn Pelton, James Rotondi, Greg Hoy, McKinley, J.R., Brad Houser, and more.
His music is called "21st Century Ray Charles" by one critic, who says it inspires with its heartfelt depth and emotional power.
Dave's music has been featured multiple times on 91.3 KBCS (Seattle), PUSO 82.3 FM (Ohio), WBAP (New Jersey), Blast Global Radio (Michigan), WNDO HOT 109.9 FM (Miami), HOODX RADIO
