About this concert
In honour of Asian Heritage Month, join us for an evening celebration of live music showcasing the rich talent and vibrant spirit of Asian-Canadian artists. From intimate ballads to genre-defying anthems, the evening will celebrate music’s power to challenge stereotypes, foster belonging, and build bridges between communities. This event will take place at The Portside Pub (7 Alexander St, Vancouver) on Friday May 23rd at 7:00 pm. Venue is 19+.
Tickets are by donation and proceeds will go directly to United Way's Kapwa Strong fund in support of Filipino BC. Donations at the door will also be accepted. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.

Daniel Lew Biography
12 years ago, Daniel Lew woke from a nightmare to find that he had gone deaf in one ear. It was a life changing moment that became a silver lining, and supercharged his passion for music. Now, he writes genre-bending songs that shine with honesty, merging his soulful voice with introspective lyricism, catchy guitar riffs and groovy rhythms. Recently, he toured his 4th album “Destiny” across Canada and Taiwan, and landed CBC airplay for “Let The Angels Shine” and “Man In The Captain’s Seat”. He has also begun infusing Chinese languages into his music to reclaim and share his culture. Daniel hope his music will help listeners sink deeper into the present moment, and fuel them with inspiration.
