Spezialist für Historische Aufführungspraxis, Solist, Kammermusiker – aus diesen Anfängen hat Riccardo Minasi längst eine gefeierte Karriere als Dirigent sowohl für den Konzertsaal als auch für die Oper aufgebaut. Bei der Deutschen Kammerphilharmonie Bremen tritt er zum ersten Mal auf, wie auch die gleichfalls aus Italien stammende Beatrice Rana, vielfache Preisträgerin und gefragte Solistin. Sie gibt ihr Debüt gleich mit einem Meilenstein des Konzertrepertoires, Beethovens drittem Klavierkonzert – das einzige in Moll, das erste von ausgeprägt sinfonischer Art. Zu Beginn des Konzerts erklingt die Ouvertüre zur beliebtesten Oper der deutschen Romantik, Carl Maria von Webers ›Freischütz‹, in der man bereits die wichtigsten Motive der Oper erkennen kann, vom düster gespenstischen Wald bis zum jubelnden Liebesthema. Mit Johannes Brahms’ vierter und letzter Sinfonie kommt ein weiteres Meisterwerk zu Gehör, dessen Höhepunkt sicher der letzte Satz darstellt – eine Reihe von 30 Variationen, die sich über einem barocken Passacaglia-Thema entwickelt.

Beatrice Rana has been shaking the international classical music world, arousing admiration and interest from concert presenters, conductors, critics and audiences internationally.
Beatrice performs at the world’s most esteemed concert halls and festivals including the Berlin Philharmonie, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, New York’s Carnegie Hall and David Geffen Hall, Walt Disney Hall and Hollywood Bowl, London's Royal Albert Hall.
She collaborates with conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Antonio Pappano, Klaus Mäkelä, Lahav Shani, Manfred Honeck, Riccardo Chailly, Gianandrea Noseda, Zubin Mehta.
In the 2024/25 season, Beatrice will be artist in residence at Paris’ Radio-France.The residency will involve a recital at the Auditorium de Radio France and several concerts and tours with both in-house orchestras, the Orchestre National de France and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and their music directors Cristian Macelaru and Mikko Frank. She will also return to the New York Philharmonic with Marek Janowski, Sinfonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks under Gianandrea Noseda, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra with Manfred Honeck, and debut with Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Alain Altinoglu.
Beatrice Rana records exclusively for Warner Classics. Her latest album, released in 2024, is dedicated to two monuments of the 19th century repertoire, Beethoven’s Hammerklavier sonata and Chopin’s sonata No.2 ‘Funeral March’.
In 2017, Beatrice started her own chamber music festival ‘Classiche Forme’ in her native town of Lecce, Puglia. The festival has become one of Italy’s major summer events.
