Stix & Stringz Biography
Stix & Stringz are a stylish budding indie folk pop three-piece band who fascinates crowds anywhere they perform shown by their ever-growing fan base. Their fresh coastal feel is translated through the meaningful melodies and lyrics they write, record, and release. The band’s unique instrumentation sets them apart from the crowd featuring the soothing sounds of ukelele and the intriguing rhythms from a cajon (a wooden box drum with snare wires).
After forming as a trio in 2023 through community open mic nights, growing social media engagement has seen the band featured on Triple M Fraser Coast with their debut single ‘I Miss You Already’. Also, they have busked alongside many recognisable folk pop artists on the streets of Byron Bay such as The McCredie Brothers, Rod Coote, Gaudion, and Austin Mackay.
