Frames in Motion

Serving up harmony-rich, tightly-crafted indie rock, Frames in Motion is the creative vehicle of Seattle-based singer and guitarist Jack Shriner. Previously putting out four albums under his own name, Shriner formed Frames in Motion with Matt Butler (bass, vocals) and David Solomon (drums) in 2016. After a series of promising local performances perfecting its blend of folk-rock, psychedelia, and prog (with more than a passing nod to the 60s California pop of early Jefferson Airplane), the band added lead guitarist Jon Fickes and released its debut LP, Euptablisses, in 2019. In a glowing review of the album, Seattle’s Dive In Magazine said, "the multi-layered warmth of this band’s elemental sound … will bond and become friends with the little piece of soul within you that understands your fellow human." Crude Koan, the follow-up LP, is out in 2024.
