Petersham Bowling Club
77 Brighton St

About this concert
Legendary Aboriginal Elder, entertainer and songwriter Uncle Roger Knox will perform in stripped-back acoustic mode for this uplifting storytelling and musical event. On this special Sunday afternoon performance, he will be joined by Toby Martin (Youth Group) to perform songs from Roger's forthcoming album Buluunarbi and the Old North Star, to be released on 30th May.
Uncle Roger and Toby will play the entirety of this new album and a couple of old favourites. Buluunarbi and the Old North Star represents a cultural milestone for Uncle Roger as his first album of original material. Each song generously shares moments in his life as a Gomeroi songman, singing across his and our Country.
