Zillafyde Biography
About
Zillafyde is a groove rock band hailing from Bloomington, Indiana just coming off the release of their debut album. They have been performing a mix of their original compositions and some popular cover songs along side some of the band’s favorite b-side tracks. Their sets have an eclectic mix of styles that create an ever-changing vibe which finds the audience captivated and engaged. They take inspiration from classic artists like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, new artists The Revivalists as well as the improvisational acts Umphrey’s Mcgee & Goose and rock duo Local H. They even cover Tyler Childers.
History
In late-summer 2022, a group of musicians got together at the weekly open mic held at the Cabin Restaurant and Lounge. Scott and Silver’s chemistry from these experiences helped create the wall of sound that eventually became Zillafyde.
