Anahita Skye Biography
Anahita Skye is a modern-day songstress who blends sultry rock and melodic pop with an infusion of soulful undertones.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to immigrant parents, she often felt like an outsider growing up and found solace in songwriting.
By her early teen years, she was writing, performing and recording songs inspired by 90s artists such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Chris Isaak and Mazzy Star. She pursued music in college, during which she was given the opportunity to tour the West Coast and Europe as a member of the Fullerton Guitar Orchestra. Since then, her evolution as a songwriter has taken many turns, from performing as a solo-acoustic artist to collaborating with progressive house DJs and producers such as Starkillers.
She has given herself the freedom to make music that is honest and truly her own, empowering listeners to find power in vulnerability and our shared search for strength, meaning, and identity in a complicated world.
She continues to tour and release new music as a solo artist along with her duo, Skye and Crow.
