1994’ten bu yana Empyrium; blackened doom’un melankolisini gotik ve folk etkilerle harmanlayarak “Where at Night the Wood Grouse Plays”, “Songs of Moors and Misty Fields” ve “The Turn of the Tides” gibi albümlerle türler arasında köprü kuran epik eserler yarattı.
Canlı performansları ise izleyenleri hem görsel hem işitsel olarak büyüleyen, nadir deneyimlerden biri olarak kabul ediliyor.

Tir Biography
Tir, a Dungeon Synth/Dark Folk project, originated in Türkiye and currently resides in Australia. As the sole and first representative of the Dungeon Synth scene in Türkiye, Tir has garnered international recognition with a discography that includes several notable releases.
The debut album, "Mountains," was launched in 2016 under Elegy Records (USA). Following this, the second album, "Urd, Skuld & Verdandi," and the third album, "Mountains Redux," were released in 2019 through Repose Records (UK). "Urd, Skuld & Verdandi" was masterfully crafted by Markus Stock (aka Empyrium), with vocal contributions from Thomas Helm (aka Empyrium) on two tracks.
Subsequent works include "Nigritude" (2020) and "Persepolis" (2021), both released under Brilliant Emperor Records (AU). The latest offering, "Awaiting the Dawn," marked a significant milestone with a dual release on Cassette, CD, and Vinyl on April 7, 2023, through Orko Productions and Brilliant Emperor Records. Markus Stock once again handled the mastering, while Thomas Helm lent his vocals to three songs on the album, further enhancing its artistic depth and international appeal.
