Formed in early 2023, this group of San Diego transplants has been refining their sound, crafting a diverse set of indie rock tunes that draw heavily from 90s alt-rock and 2000s indie. Lead singer and songwriter Clay Oboth delivers melancholy lyrics with a mix of sincerity and detached indifference, while guitarist Felipe Gomez and bassist Conner Myers create a moody sonic backdrop that deepens the emotional impact of the vocals. Electric harpist Catherine Skinner adds a unique twist to the classic rock configuration, weaving intricate melodic lines over choppy rhythm guitar and a pulsing rhythm section. Drummer Vinnie Farina drives the band with her dynamic rhythms, adding energy and complexity to their sound.
