Rosie's Smokehouse Deluxe

Growing up in Detroit, David was heavily influenced at a very young age by the Motown Sound of his hometown. His influences range from the late great James Jamerson to the likes of Willie Dixon, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Jack Bruce and Chris Squire to name a few.

After years of performing in the US, an opportunity arose for David to relocate to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and things really took off from there. Working along side Canadian vocal legend Alex Machin of "A Foot In Coldwater" fame, David became part of the Canadian band "Champion". He soon found himself joining Canadian blues guitarist "David Wilcox" where he spent the better part of two decades touring and recording.

It was during this time that David began writing and recording his own material with the aspiration of someday putting together and fronting his own band. With the release of their debut album "Welcome To The Smokehouse", all the pieces have fallen into place and "Rosie's Smokehouse Deluxe" has became a reality. "Welcome To The Smokehouse", is being very well received at home in Canada as well as the US and abroad. "2025" finds the band heading out and performing live in support of the project. They have also begun preparation on a follow up album and are incredibly excited on what the future has in store. The time is right and the time is now, "Welcome To The Smokehouse"!
