About this concert
Acapulco Lips
Listening to this band is like being woken up from a coma. Such a crisp yet relentlessly vintage sound, that should rev the engine of any one remotely interested in a lo-fi garage sound. Rock and roll, freedom of expression and a genuine passion for a variety of musical influences charge them with great speed into the future of music! Well composed and executed! Endearing fan...
Sun Atoms
Sun Atoms conjures a cinematic swirl of psychedelic shimmer, gothic romance, and kosmische grooves—think Leonard Cohen dreaming in synths or Joy Division on peyote. Helmed by Jsun Atoms and featuring players from The Dandy Warhols and beyond, the Portland collective’s lush, shadowy soundscapes pulse with hypnotic drums, haunted horns, and noir-lit poetry. Their latest album, Everything Forever, is a spellbinding descent into neon-lit melancholy—featuring a guest turn by Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse—and proof that modern psychedelia still has fresh terrain to haunt.
SCOTT YODER
It may seem foolish to pursue a life of music in these times but SCOTT YODER has never been one to shy away from his inner fool. Returning in ’24 with a fantastical new collection of songs on “Scooter Pie.” This sonic journey is aided by a group of musicians that include long time collaborator Bryant Moore of The True Loves, Carolyn B. (of Mt Fog) and legendary cellist Lori Goldston (of Nirvana, David Byrne, Black Cat Orchestra).
SCOTT YODER’s journey into the more theatrical elements of his music has taken him across the world over the past few years. Several tours of Europe and North America have followed each of his 4 albums; most years he’s onstage one out of every three days. Scott Yoder has played at many festivals: Capitol Hill Block Party, SXSW, Happy Sundays, Meltasia, Treefort & Lose Yr Mind Fest and has shared the stage with Kevin Morby, A Place To Bury Strangers, Roky Erickson, Shannon & The Clams, Death Valley Girls, King Khan & BBQ Show, L.A. Witch, The Shivas, and so many more.
