Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir

Joan Caddell is the winner of the 2008 Excellence in Performing Arts Award from COASHI. She was named Best Female Original Pop Artist in 2008 by the Staten Island Advance Readers Poll. She is also the winner of the 2009 St. George Day Songwriting Award, as well as a 2012 Inductee in the NYC Blues Hall of Fame. Joan is a songwriter, lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist for Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir. The Band has also been named Best Original Band 3 times over and has performed at the Newport Folk Festival 2022 and 2023 and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2024.

Scott Caddell is a backline coordinator for major music festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals. He is also the co-founder/producer of The Westerleigh Folk Festival, a local all-day art and music festival now in its 17th year. He is a 2012 Inductee in the NYC Blues Hall of Fame. Scott is a bassist and background vocalist for Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir.

Dave Stoler has performed for many years with a number of original bands including Buddy Love. He studied music composition and is a competent piano tuner. Dave is a seasoned player, well-versed in many types of keys—he plays the piano, organ, accordion and keyboard for Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir.

Sal Azzarelli is the founder, writer and former guitarist with local country band favorite The Nashville Attitude. He also plays for Orville Davis. Sal is dobro accomplished and plays lead guitar for Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir.

Robert Bocignone is a veteran player who has performed with various Staten Island and Manhattan bands for over 25 years. He has just the right touch. Bob plays the drums for Joan Caddell & The Midnight Choir.
