By The Good Night

By The Good Night founded in mid 2024 when five musicians from across the country collided. Singer, Dook Dootson (Manchester, UK) had previously played with drummer, Ben Zellner (Las Vegas, NV) in the Dallas based outfit “Learning Names” before his moving to new projects. Jordan Lief (San Jose, CA) had been playing Trumpet and Keys with Learning Names as well.

After the last Learning Names show in summer of ‘24, the three determined a new band should form. They called upon guitarist Luis Gonzalez (Laredo, TX) and bass player Lenny Nicotra (Boca Raton, FL) to complete the lineup.

Soon after joining forces gigs were booked playing Lost N Sound and Arts Goggle festivals in Fort Worth. The first single – “Hold On” was released January 10th 2025, followed up by their second "Payphone" on April 4th 2025.
